I sent Madis pic into KHOU for there wild flower explosion photo gallery. And the editor wrote me back saying madi was so adorable! She is using Madi as the main icon into the photo gallery on KHOU homepage. Way to go MADI!!!

No man gets left behind!

We recently bought Madi a little table she can sit and eat at. Well Corey loves to eat by his lil bug so he decided to make himself comfy at the kids table! Lol! This is a moment I truly love witnessing!

Did I mention that I LOVE BEING A MOM!

 

The Day Our Little Bug Turned One!!!

What a special day indeed! For Madis first birthday we had a family indoor picnic with a Lady bug theme. For our guest of honor everyone wore ladybug antennas and a red or black outfit. My friend sister made a one of a kind Lady Bug cake with flower cupcakes. We watched Madis first year on video with "There she Goes" by Six Pence Non the Richer playing along with picture clips. And before the guest left I had them all write down some wishes and hopes for Madis future to store away until she gets a little older. Madi had a blast that day! It was truly a birthday to remember.

Moving on to bigger things

Today Madi rode in her new carseat! It was time for a bigger one, her little feet
were hanging out of the other one. My little girl is growing up soooo fast! She
will already be turning one on Friday. I enjoy every single minute I have with
her and just get amazed by the little cute things she does. Madi definately has
a little sparkle about her.!

Watch out world, Here I come!

So for Christmas Mimi and Popo got Madi this cute little horse on wheels.
Yesterday Madi went and pushed it out of the corner. And then she looked
at me like Mommy put me on the horse, Im ready to ride! So I started pushing
 her around the couch and in the dining area. But after a couple laps my knees
 were burning! So I decided to give the horsey a harness, lol. I tied a rope
around the horses neck and pulled Madi all around the house. She enjoyed
 it sooo much that you could not get her to let go of the handle bars. So daddy
and I decided to take turns, 3 laps each. Well Corey be the character he is was
 making her laugh. He would go OOOOO Madi, wooo hooo Baby. And this
blog pic is the end result. She was sooo cute. She would drive by me going
OOOO wooo, copying her daddy. Soo cute!! I love this CHILD!!!  Thanks Mimi and Popo!

She Stands Because She Can!

Yesterday we saw Madi stand for the first time!
And like crazy parents we stood by for a hour
with our pocket camcorder to get it on film.
After many attempts we finally got it! Way to
go lil bug! You did it and we couldnt be prouder!
